Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These terms cover the RemoPilot website, cloud account and relay services, CLI/agents on paired computers, and associated plugins and Skills. Read these terms, the Refund Policy and privacy information before registering, connecting or purchasing. Paid orders use the price, billing period and policy version disclosed at purchase. Continued use does not replace express consent where it is required.

You must have legal capacity to enter a contract where you live, and authority if acting for an organization. Third-party chat platforms, models, operating systems and payment services have their own terms.

2. Service and requirements

RemoPilot routes authorized requests to computers you install and pair. Command, file, Git, app and simulator capabilities depend on the selected computer’s actual catalogue. Use requires an online computer, network access, appropriate tools and system permissions. macOS app control also requires a usable desktop session; the managed mobile workflow currently supports iOS Simulator on a Mac with Xcode.

We do not promise identical capabilities on every platform, uninterrupted availability, successful completion of every task or interruption-free updates. Current free allowances, plan limits and platform availability appear on the pricing and account pages. This does not remove expressly agreed paid-service obligations or statutory quality requirements.

3. Accounts, pairing and execution authority

Connect only computers, directories and accounts you own or are authorized to administer. Protect login methods, machine credentials and client authorizations; revoke suspicious access and contact support. A selected project directory is not a command sandbox. Commands run with the target operating-system user’s permissions. Separate app instances and coordination locks are not virtual machines or strong tenant isolation.

Check the computer, directory, arguments and impact before execution, back up important content, and obtain authorization for deletion, publication, deployment, payments and permission changes. AI instructions and results can be wrong and require review appropriate to their impact. You are responsible for operations you authorize; we remain responsible for our defects, fault and statutory duties. A disconnected connection does not prove execution failed. Query the original task record before retrying.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unauthorized access, malware distribution, fraud, infringement of privacy or intellectual property, unlawful data collection, or harm to others’ devices or services. Do not steal credentials, bypass permission or quota controls, or abuse multiple accounts or refund requests to obtain free service. Lawful, authorized security research is not prohibited solely because it is security research.

5. Subscriptions, prices and automatic renewal

For checkouts handled by a third-party merchant of record (currently Waffo Pancake), the entity identified at checkout and on the receipt or invoice is the Merchant of Record and handles payment, applicable sales taxes, billing and order refunds. The legal operator identified on this page provides RemoPilot software and services. That entity’s buyer terms and refund policy supplied at purchase also apply to those orders. Existing Paddle and Stripe orders remain with their original payment channel.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions priced in US dollars unless the purchase page expressly states otherwise. Subscriptions renew and charge automatically each month until canceled. The checkout and invoice show the total payable, applicable taxes and next billing date. Exchange rates and bank fees are determined by the relevant third party. Our fees do not include ChatGPT, model APIs, network, cloud or other third-party charges.

Open Membership & billing, then Manage subscription & payment methods to cancel automatic renewal before the next charge. Check the cancellation confirmation and effective date. With cancellation at period end, paid access normally continues through that period. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund, and a refund request does not itself cancel renewal. Contact support if management is inaccessible. Renewal reminders and material price changes must be notified in advance as applicable law requires. Increases do not apply retroactively to paid periods; you may cancel before they take effect.

An upgrade charges a prorated difference for the remaining subscription period. Confirmed payment grants the full finite allowance or activates Pro with no monthly call ceiling without adding the old balance; the renewal date is unchanged. There is currently no public one-time top-up product or promised self-service downgrade. Changes depend on the actual management options and payment confirmation.

6. Allowances and execution accounting

Finite Free/Plus allowances refresh each period without rollover. Pro is fully metered with no default monthly ceiling; account limits apply and all plans retain 120 new requests per rolling minute per account. The highest active tier applies; extra grants keep their original expiry. Credits measure service use and are not money, deposits or transferable assets redeemable for cash. This does not limit refunds of subscription payments under the Refund Policy or law.

Every new target-tool invocation costs one unit, including status, waiting and diagnostics. Outer discovery and original-request recovery retain their existing free rules. New executions reserve and settle credits under the disclosed rules. Undispatched or confirmed unexecuted requests release reservations; unresolved execution must be checked using the original record. An execution that returns an error is not automatically an unexecuted request or a cash refund. Credit releases, administrative grants and payment refunds are separate.

7. Data, privacy and intellectual property

You retain rights to your projects, files and outputs and authorize the processing necessary for execution, routing, display and support. Selected content, output, screenshots and artifacts may pass through the cloud into your chat; local execution does not mean no third party receives content. Submit only content you may process, and avoid unnecessary sharing of secrets or others’ sensitive information.

Rights to RemoPilot software, marks and documentation remain with their respective holders. Third-party and open-source components follow their own licenses; these terms do not restrict rights already granted by those licenses. The cloud relay is not a project backup service. Keep your own backups.

8. Suspension, termination and changes

Material security risks, unlawful use, material breach or payment failure may result in proportionate restrictions. Except in emergencies, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy or appeal. We may suspend first to prevent immediate harm and then notify you where legally permitted. You may stop using the service, revoke connections and cancel subscriptions. Removing local software or an account does not ensure an external subscription is canceled.

For planned discontinuation of paid services, we will give reasonable advance notice and provide refunds required by law or a prorated refund for the undelivered portion. Termination does not automatically forfeit all payments. Account suspension, refunds or cancellation do not mean a running local task has stopped or its changes have been reversed. Check original tasks and back up records before deletion.

9. Liability and consumer rights

The service is provided with its described capabilities. Except for express commitments and mandatory legal requirements, we do not guarantee suitability for every particular purpose. Issues involving user environments, third-party services or events beyond reasonable control are assessed according to their actual cause and each party’s responsibility.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude indirect losses, lost anticipated profits and lost business opportunities, and limit aggregate ordinary contractual liability relating to the service to the service fees you actually paid RemoPilot in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence, personal injury, statutory data-protection liability, non-excludable consumer remedies or amounts that must be refunded. Mandatory consumer rights remain intact.

10. Updates, disputes and contact

This page identifies its revision and effective date. Material changes require reasonable advance notice. Payment and current-period refund disputes use the policy supplied with that order, unless law requires otherwise or we separately agree. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to the extent lawful. Ambiguities between English and Chinese are interpreted using the language supplied at purchase, the order and mandatory law.

Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute. You may always seek help from competent courts, consumer authorities or applicable dispute-resolution channels.
